Jharkhand Krishi Rin Mafi Yojana Status checking facility is now available online at jkrmy.jharkhand.gov.in portal. Under this scheme, the Jharkhand state government waive off crop loans upto Rs. 2 lakh (earlier Rs. 50,000) of farmers. All those beneficiaries who have earlier made registration for JKRMY scheme can now track their application status. However, those farmers who have still not received crop loan waiver benefit can make beneficiary registration.

JKRMY in Jharkhand Budget 2025-26

On 3rd March 2025, Finance Minister presented Jharkhand Budget 2025-26. While delivering the budget speech, FM said “अध्यक्ष महोदय, राज्य की आर्थिक संस्कृति आज भी मुख्यतः खेती-किसानी पर ही आधारित है। हमारी सरकार की मुख्य प्राथमिकता किसानों को ऋण से मुक्त करना, सूखा से राहत दिलाना और सबसे महत्वपूर्ण उनके आय में वृद्धि करना है। हमारी सरकार ने झारखण्ड कृषि ऋण माफी योजना के माध्यम से अब तक लगभग 4 लाख किसानों का 2 लाख रुपये तक का ऋण माफ किया है। इस मद में कुल 769 करोड़ रुपये से अधिक का व्यय किया गया है।”

About jkrmy.jharkhand.gov.in Portal

JKRMY Jharkhand Portal submit details of beneficiaries (Online eKYC + Offline data) to bank for loan waiver payment.
In case of failed payments by bank, details of beneficiaries are rectified so as to provide them with loan waiver.
Jharkhand Krishi Rin Mafi Yojana Portal was launched on 1 February 2021.

Benefits of Jharkhand Krishi Rin Mafi Yojana

The major beneficiaries of JKRMY scheme includes:-

Reducing the debt burden of the Jharkhand farmers who have taken short term agricultural loans from banks.
Improving the credit score (eligibility to take loans) of farmers who have already taken crop loans.
Ensuring that farmers gets new agriculture loans for their crops as their previous loans are paid.
Stopping migration of farming community into other businesses.
Providing a major boost to the agricultural economy in the Jharkhand state.

Eligibility Criteria for JKRMY Scheme

Ryots – Farmers who cultivate their own land are eligible.
Non-Ryots – Farmers who cultivate the lands of other Ryots are also eligible.
Only farmers who are permanent resident of Jharkhand State will get benefits of JKRMY Scheme.
Farmer must possess a valid aadhaar number.
Minimum age of farmer to become eligible is 18 years.
Farmer must possess a ration card of Jharkhand state.
Farmer must also possess Kisan Credit Card (KCC).
Only one member from a family who has taken crop loan will be eligible.
Farmer must have taken short term crop loans from recognized banks which are located in Jharkhand.
Farmer must have a standard crop loan account.
Family of the deceased farmer who has taken agriculture loan is eligible.
This scheme will be voluntary for all crop loan holders.
