Palak Mata Pita Yojana Online Apply

STEP 1: First of all, make E Samaj Kalyan Gujarat Portal Registration and Login
STEP 2: Once logged in, apply for Palak Mata Pita Yojana scheme through online mode.
STEP 3: You can even download the Palak Mata Pita Yojana registration form PDF through online mode by clicking at “Director Social Defense” tab in the main menu and click “Foster Parents – Application Form” link.
STEP 4: Fill the application form correctly and submit it to concerned authorities for approval. After approval, candidates will get scheme benefits.

Eligibility Criteria for Palak Mata Pita Yojana

  • Under this scheme only the applicants of Gujarat state will be eligible for assistance.
  • Support under Palak Mata Pita scheme will be paid till the child attains the age of 18 years. The support will be stopped after the child reaches 18 years of age.
  • Foster parents including grandparents, uncles, aunts, guardians, cousins etc. who takes care of the orphan children (care takers) would be eligible.
  • Children adopted from orphanages will not be eligible for this assistance.
  • As long as the child is studying and attains the age of 18 years, he will be eligible for assistance.
  • If the child is below 18 years of age and drops out of school, the aid will not be available.
  • The annual income of the foster parents should not exceed Rs. 27,000 in rural areas and Rs. 36,000 in urban areas.
  • The beneficiaries of Palak Mata Pita Yojana includes the following:-
    • those orphans whose mother and father both have died, or
    • whose father has died and mother performed remarriage.

Exclusion Criteria for Palak Mata Pita Yojana

The assistance under Palak Mata Pita Yojana will not be provided if:-

  • Father is dead and the mother is alive and has not remarried.
  • Father is alive and mother has remarried.
  • Father is alive and mother has died.

List of Documents Required for Palak Mata Pita Yojana

  • Any one of the child’s birth certificate/school leaving certificate
  • An attested copy of the death certificate of the child’s parents will have to be submitted.
  • In a case where the child’s father has died and the mother has remarried, then the mother’s Affidavit of remarriage/certificate of marriage registration (Any one)
  • Proof of Remarriage
  • Copy of income proof (Rs. 27,000 for rural areas and Rs. 36,000 for urban areas)
  • Joint bank account details of the child and foster parents
  • Child Aadhar Card
  • Attested copy of ration card of foster parents
  • Copy of certificate of the standard in which the child is currently studying
  • Any one of the copy of Aadhar card of foster father/mother

Short Brief on Palak Mata Pita Yojana

  • The assistance under Palak Mata Pita Yojana is given only to 1) those orphans whose mother and father have died or 2) father has died & mother done remarriage.
  • Gujarat govt. will provide Rs. 3,000 per month in the joint bank account of the foster parents and the child.
  • The assistance amount would be given through DBT till the child reaches the age of 18 years for their proper maintenance and upkeep.
  • The eligible support under this scheme will be spent by the foster parents for the child’s nutrition, education and other important things in child’s life just like other children.
  • If for any reason one month’s assistance is not deposited in the beneficiary’s bank account, then the collected assistance of two months will be paid in the next month.
  • The assistance available under Palak Mata Pita Yojana will be paid in the first or second week of the month.
  • At the beginning of every year, the bonafide certificate of the school where the child is studying and the mark sheet have to be deposited in the Social Welfare Department. Failture of providing certificate and marksheet would result in withholding of assistance.
