Gujarat government has started Mukhyamantri Yuva Swavalamban Yojana apply online process for the current academic year at mysy.guj.nic.in. Mukhyamantri Yuva Swavalamban Yojana in Gujarat Budget 2025-26
Gujarat’s Finance Minister, Shri Kanu Desai, presented the Budget 2025-26 digitally on 20th February 2025 using the National eVidhan Application (NeVA) at the State Assembly. It marks a significant step towards paperless governance. While delivering the budget speech, FM said “A provision of Rs. 410 crore under the Mukhya Mantri Yuva Swavalamban Yojana (MYSY) for assistance to approximately 78,000 students”.
STEP 1: Firstly visit the Mukhyamantri Yuva Swavalamban Yojana official website at https://mysy.guj.nic.in/ STEP 2: At the homepage, scroll over “Login / Register for 2025” tab present in the main menu and click at “Fresh Application” link. STEP 3: Direct link –https://mysy.guj.nic.in/Frm_Stu_Login.aspx STEP 4: Upon clicking the link, the page to make mysy guj nic in login for students will appear as shown below:- MYSY Guj Nic In Login STEP 5: If you are new user, then hit at “If you are not registered, plz. click for Registration” to make Gujarat Mukhyamantri Yuva Swavalamban Yojana online registration. Types of Scholarship Under MYSY Gujarat Scheme
The main objective of the MYSY Scholarship Scheme is to help those students financially who are not being able to finance their education due to low family income. Through this scholarship scheme, financial assistance will be provided to those students so that they can continue their education without any problem. There are three types of scholarships that are offered under the MYSY Scholarship which are as follows:-
Tuition fee grant
Hostel grant
Book/instruments grant
Features and Benefits of Gujarat MYSY Scholarship Scheme
Under the Mukhyamantri Yuva Swavalamban Yojana, non-reserve students of Gujarat will also get financial help for buying books and equipment.
Those students who are in Gujarat medical education research society and dental courses will get financial assistance of Rs. 10 lakh over 5 years
For government jobs, there is an age relaxation given to all category students. This age relaxation is of 5 years
All those students who wish to appear in the competitive exam will be provided training under training centers.
The government will also provide assistance of Rs. 1200 per month for 10 months if in that region there is no higher education facility or government hostel.
All the students who have passed class 10th and 12th with 80% and have opted for diploma courses will get Rs. 25000 per year or 50% fees whichever is less.
Under the MYSY scholarship scheme, free of cost outfits and reading material etc would be provided by the Gujarat government.
