Dr. Ambedkar Awas Yojana in Gujarat Budget 2025-26
Gujarat’s Finance Minister, Shri Kanu Desai, presented the Budget 2025-26 digitally on 20th February 2025 using the National eVidhan Application (NeVA) at the State Assembly. It marks a significant step towards paperless governance. While delivering the budget speech, FM said “Our Government has given high priority to housing, food security and nutrition for poor and disadvantaged groups. To fulfill the dream of ‘Ghar nu Ghar’ of every citizen, more than 3 lakh houses for the poor are planned. Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural), Dr. Ambedkar Awas Yojana, Pandit Dindayal Awas Yojana and Halpati Awas Yojana schemes, I hereby enhance the current assistance of ₹ 1 lakh 20 thousand per beneficiary by a substantial quantum of ₹ 50 thousand amounting to ₹ 1 lakh 70 thousand per house”.
The hon’ble FM added “Under the department’s housing schemes, the financial assistance for approximately 21,500 beneficiaries from Scheduled Castes, Socially and Educationally Backward Classes, Economically Backward Classes and Nomadic-Denotified Tribes has been increased by ₹ 50,000, with a total provision of ₹ 400 crore”.

This form must be filled in manually by the applicant and recent passport size photograph must be attached to it. લાભાર્થી દ્વારા અથવા લાભાર્થીના અન્ય કુટૃંબના સભ્યો દ્વારા સરકારશ્રી દ્વારા અમલિત અન્ય કોઈપણ આવાસ યોજના હેઠળ લાભ લીધેલ ન હોવો જોઈએ.
ગ્રામ્ય વિસ્તારમાં વાર્ષિક આવક ₹.600,000 અને શહેરી વિસ્તારમાં વાર્ષિક આવક ₹.600,000 થી વધુ ન હોવી જોઇએ.
મકાનની સહાયની રકમ ₹.૧,૨૦,૦૦૦ રહેશે. વધુમાં શૌચાલય માટે જેમને ₹.૧૨,૦૦૦ ની સહાય મળવાપાત્ર હોય તેમને અલગથી તે યોજનાના નિયમો પ્રમાણે મળવાપાત્ર થશે. પરંતુ, જો લાભાર્થીને શૌચાલય માટે સહાય ન મળવાપાત્ર હોય તો તેમણે ફરજિયાત ₹.૧,૨૦,૦૦૦ ની સહાયમાંથી શૌચાલય બનાવવાનું રહેશે.
આ યોજના હેઠળ બનેલ મકાન ઉપર લાભાર્થીએ “રાજ્ય સરકારની આંબેડકર આવાસ યોજના” એ મુજબની તક્તી લગાવવાની રહેશે.
મકાન બાંધકામની ટોચ મર્યાદા શહેરી વિસ્તાર માટે ₹.૧૦,૦૦,૦૦૦ અને ગ્રામ્ય વિસ્તારમાં ₹.૭,૦૦,૦૦૦ ની રહેશે. શહેરી વિસ્તારમાં Affordable Housing Scheme હેઠળ આપવામાં આવતી સહાયમાં ઉપરની ટોચ મર્યાદા લાગુ પડશે નહી

અનુસૂચિત જાતિના નબળી આર્થિક સ્થિતી ધરાવતાં અને ખાસ કરીને ગરીબી રેખા નીચે જીવતા ઘરવિહોણા લોકોને સમયબદ્ધ કાર્યક્રમ રૂપે તબક્કાવાર આવાસો પૂરા પાડવાનો છે. જે વ્યક્તિઓ ખુલ્લો પ્લોટ ધરાવતા હોય, તદ્દન કાચું ગાર માટીનું, ઘાસપૂળાનું, કુબા ટાઈપનું મકાન કે જે રહેઠાણ યોગ્ય ન હોય તેવું મકાન ધરાવનાર તથા મકાનની માલિકની સંમતિથી પ્રથમ માળ ઉપર મકાન બાંધવા માટે ₹.૧,૨૦,૦૦૦ ત્રણ હપ્તામાં સહાય ચુકવવામાં આવે છે. o તે પૈકી પ્રથમ હપ્તો – ₹.૪૦,૦૦૦ (વહીવટી મંજૂરીના હુકમ સાથે), o બીજો હપ્તો–₹.૬૦,૦૦૦ (લીન્ટલ લેવલે પહોંચ્યા બાદ) અને o ત્રીજો હપ્તો – ₹.૨૦,૦૦૦ (શૌચાલય સહિતનું બાંધકામ પૂર્ણ થયેથી) આપવામાં આવે છે
