Student Credit Card Scheme in Bihar Budget 2025-26

On 3rd March 2025, Finance Minister Samrat Choudhary presented Bihar Budget 2025-26. While delivering the Bihar Budget Speech 2025-26, FM said “ऋण एवं पेशगियाँ – वर्ष 2025-26 में राज्य सरकार द्वारा 1,543.05 करोड़ रुपये का ऋण दिया जाना प्रस्तावित है, जिसमें मुख्यतः बिहार स्टुडेंट क्रेडिट कार्ड स्कीम हेतु 1,000 करोड़ रुपये, ग्राम तथा लघु उद्योगों के लिए 395.95 करोड़ रुपये, बिजली परियोजना के कम्पनियों को कर्ज के लिए 78.10 करोड़ रुपये, परिवहन सेवाओं हेतु 30 करोड़ रुपये एवं सरकारी कर्मचारियों के लिए 39 करोड़ रुपये दिया जाना है। पूर्व में दिये गये ऋणों की वापसी से राज्य सरकार को 525.40 करोड़ रुपये की राशि प्राप्त होना अनुमानित है। इस प्रकार कुल शुद्ध ऋण 1,017.65 करोड रुपये दिया जाना प्रस्तावित है।”

FM added “युवाओं की पढ़ाई के लिए पैसे की कमी बाधा नहीं बने, इसके लिए हमारी सरकार स्टुडेन्ट क्रेडिट कार्ड के तहत सुगम ऋण आसान शर्तों पर उपलब्ध करा रही है, वहीं उनके रोजगार के लिए कौशल विकास के साथ-साथ उद्यमिता को बढ़ावा देने के लिए स्टार्टअप सहायता योजना सहित कई स्तर पर पूंजी की सहायता जैसे प्रावधान कर रही है। बिहार स्टुडेन्ट क्रेडिट कार्ड योजना अन्तर्गत अब तक 3.70 लाख छात्र/छात्रा लाभान्वित हो चुके हैं।”
