CM Nitish Kumar on Mukhyamantri Pratigya Yojana Bihar
The honorable Chief Minister Nitish Kumar posted on X “मुझे यह बताते हुए प्रसन्नता हो रही है कि 7 निश्चय-2 के तहत बिहार के युवाओं को उन्नत कौशल, बेहतर रोजगार क्षमता, नेतृत्व विकास, सशक्त नेटवर्किंग और कैरियर संवर्द्धन के नए अवसर प्रदान करने हेतु मुख्यमंत्री-प्रतिज्ञा (CM Promotion of Readiness, Awareness and Technical Insights for Guiding Youth Advancement) योजना के क्रियान्वयन की कैबिनेट द्वारा मंजूरी देते हुए राशि स्वीकृत कर दी गई है। यह योजना युवाओं को अपना भविष्य संवारने के लिए उपयोगी साबित होगी।”
“इस योजना में कौशल विकास प्रशिक्षण हेतु 12वीं पास प्रशिक्षित युवाओं को 4000, आई॰टी॰आई॰ या डिप्लोमा पास युवाओं को 5000 एवं स्नातक या स्नातकोत्तर पास इंटर्नशिप करने वाले युवाओं को मासिक 6000 रु॰ की राशि प्रदान की जाएगी। राज्य के एक लाख युवाओं को 2025-26 से 2030-31 तक विभिन्न संस्थानों में इंटर्नशिप कराई जाएगी। राज्य सरकार की इस दूरदर्शी और नवाचारी पहल का उद्देश्य युवाओं को आत्मनिर्भर, दक्ष और रोजगारोन्मुखी बनाना है ताकि उनका भविष्य सुरक्षित हो। हमलोग युवाओं को सक्षम बनाने तथा उन्हें रोजगार के अवसर उपलब्ध कराने हेतु कृतसंकल्पित हैं”, CM added.

Eligibility Criteria for Mukhyamantri Pratigya Yojana
- Applicant must be a permanent resident of Bihar state.
- He/She must be a youth in the age category of 18 to 35 years.
- Applicant must be either 12th pass or ITI/Diploma pass or UG/PG graduate.

Financial Support under CM PRATIGYA Yojana Bihar
The scheme includes monthly financial support to youths undergoing skill development training and internships:-
- Rs. 4,000 per month for youth who have passed Class 12 and are undergoing skill training.
- Rs. 5,000 per month for ITI or diploma holders undergoing training.

Bihar Govt’s Target of One lakh Internships by 2030
The state govt. of Bihar has set an ambitious goal of facilitating internships for 1 lakh youth between 2025-26 and 2030-31 across various institutions. These internships aim to provide practical experience and enhance employability among graduates and diploma holders.
The CM emphasised that the state’s long-term objective is to make youth self-reliant, technically skilled, and job-oriented, thereby securing their futures. “We are determined to empower our youth and provide them with ample employment opportunities,” Nitish Kumar stated
