Girl should be registered in the local Anganwadi centre
Mother and Father of girl must be a permanent resident of Madhya Pradesh state.
Mother and Father of girl must not be an income tax payee.
Parents who have two or less children, adopted family planning after the birth of the second child.
Parents would receive benefits for first girl child even without family planning. However to receive benefits for second girl child, it is necessary for the parents to adopt family planning.
MP Ladli Laxmi Yojana Eligibility (Special Cases)
Family that have atmost 2 girl child and either father or mother have died, then such girl candidates can be registered till the age of 5 years. Hoewver if the remaining parent (mother/father) performs second marriage, then girl child taking birth from second marriage would not be eligible.
If a mother give birth to 3 girls together in her first delivery, then all three newborn girls would get Ladli Laxmi scheme benefits.
Eligible girls born to women prisoners in jail will also be benefited under the scheme.
The benefit of MP Ladli Laxmi Yojana shall also be given to the girl child born to a girl/woman who is a rape victim.
For families who have not opted for family planning due to health reasons, such case can be approved by collector within 2 years.
Late applications would be meticulously examined and after examining these special cases, District collector can give approval/rejection.
Superintendent of the Orphanage/Protection Home must fill application form within 1 year of admission and before the girl turns 5 years of age. In case of child being adopted, application must be filled within 1 year of adopting girl child.
