STEP 1: Firstly visit the official Chandranna Bima Yojana Portal at https://chandrannabima.ap.gov.in/new/default.aspx
STEP 2: At the homepage, click at “Search” tab present in the main menu or directly click https://chandrannabima.ap.gov.in/new/searchstatus.aspx
STEP 3: Accordingly, the page to perform AP Chandranna Bima Status Search by Year will open.
STEP 4: Here you will have to select financial year for which you want to check status. Following years are available for tracking status:-
- 2021-22 – https://chandrannabima.ap.gov.in/new/SearchName.aspx
- 2022-23 – https://chandrannabima.ap.gov.in/new/SearchName2223.aspx

Eligibility Criteria for AP Chandranna Bima Scheme
- The members should be aged between 18 completed years and 70 years.
- He / She should be from Below Poverty line.
- He / She should be Primary Bread earning member.
Need for AP Chandranna Bima Scheme
The death or disability due to accident of a Primary Bread Earner results in misery to his/her family with hardship and reduced earnings and excessive medical expenditure relating to the accident. Hence, there is every need to provide accidental death and disability insurance to the Primary Bread Earner of BPL families towards social security. Further, even natural death of a Primary Bread Earner of the BPL family results in undue hardship to the surviving family members who are to be provided with some relief. Thus, the State Government has introduced the CHANDRANNA Bima scheme.
