Maharashtra government is inviting Krantijyoti Savitribai Phule Scholarship Scheme online application form 2025 at mahadbt.maharashtra.gov.in. Under this scheme, the state govt. will provide financial assistance to VJNT and BC girl students studying in class from 5th to 10th in govt. schools or other recognized schools.
The main objective of the scheme is to encourage the enrollment and to decrease the dropout ratio of girl students of Maharashtra from Vimukta Jati and Nomadic Tribes (VJNT) and Backward Classes (BC), studying in Class 5th to Class 10th.

Krantijyoti Savitribai Phule Scholarship Scheme in Maharashtra Budget 2025-26
On 10th March 2025, Finance Minister Ajit Pawar presented Maharashtra Budget 2025-26. While delivering the Maharashtra Budget Speech 2025-26, the hon’ble Finance Minister said “Various programs are being implemented such as Ashram Schools for the children of sugarcane workers, Vidyaniketan, Krantijyoti Savitribai Phule Scholarship Scheme, Dr. Punjabrao Deshmukh Hostel Scheme, and Tanda Vastimukta Vasahat Yojana for the overall development of the Other Backward Classes, Nomadic Tribes, Denotified Tribes, and Special Backward Classes”.
Finance Minister added “In addition, 22 welfare schemes are being implemented on the lines of Tribal Sub-Plan for the Dhangar and Gowari communities”. Krantijyoti Savitribai Phule Scholarship Maharashtra Budget 2025-26
Step 1: Visit the MahaDBT portal at https://mahadbt.maharashtra.gov.in/ Step 2: Click on “New Applicant Registration“. Register using your Name, Mobile Number, and Email ID. Create a Username and Password. Your Mobile Number and Email ID will be verified via OTP. Savitribai Phule Scholarship Yojana Registration Form Step 3: Now visit to Login Page and log in using your Username and Password. You will be directed to Home Page. In the left pane, click “Aadhaar Bank Link” to link your Aadhaar with your Bank Account. Step 4: In the left pane, click “Profile“. Fill in all the mandatory details and upload the mandatory documents (Personal Details, Address Information, Other Information, Current Course, Past Qualification, and Hostel Details). Click “Save“. Step 5: In the left pane, click “All Schemes“. A list of schemes will appear. Click on “Savitribai Phule Scholarship“. Step 6: Fill in all the additional information and upload the mandatory documents. Click “Submit” to submit your application. A pop-up will appear, displaying your Application ID. Save the Application ID for future reference. Click “OK“.
Optional: You can track the status of your application (Under Scrutiny / Approved / Rejected / Fund Disbursed) by clicking on “My Applied Scheme History” in the left pane.
Eligibility Criteria for Savitribai Phule Scholarship Scheme
Student must be a resident of Maharashtra state.
The student should be a girl child.
The applicant must belong to VJNT or BC Category.
VJNT and BC girls studying in 5th to 10th standard are eligible.
The student should be studying in Government schools or Government recognized schools.
There is no limit on income to avail Krantijyoti Savitribai Phule Scholarship Scheme benefit.
All board student except from self-financed schools are eligible for the scheme.
There will be no limit of marks.
If student gets fail for the year he is not eligible till she pass the class.
For the second installment, attendance is 60% mandatory for the current academic year.

Benefits of Maharashtra Savitribai Scholarship Yojana
Rs. 250 per month (₹ 2500 for 10 months) would be given to students in 5th to 7th grade. Earlier this amount was Rs. 60 per month or Rs. 600 for 10 months.
Rs. 300 per month (₹ 3,000 for 10 months) would be given to students in 8th to 10th grade. Earlier this amount was Rs. 100 per month or Rs. 1000 for 10 months.
Disbursement will happen in two instalments.
Note: No extra benefit for more than 10 months. For less than 10 months, the beneficiary will be paid for only the no. of months he attended school from the date of admission.
Renewal Policy
For renewal applications, applicants are required to follow the same eligibility criteria as of the new application.
