According to industry chamber FICCI, about 88 airports and 619 routes have been operationalized to execute operations under Udaan scheme. Here is the central govt’s regional connectivity scheme airports list (operationalized) till 23 December 2024 as well as list of RCS Udan routes commenced till 23 December 2024.

The list of operationalized airports under RCS Udan Scheme 2025 has been released based upon geographical, operational and commercial parameters which are now part of regional connectivity scheme. Under RCS, govt. has connected the underserved airports to key airports through flights that will cost upto Rs. 2500 per hour per flight. Udan Scheme in Union Budet 2025-26

On 1st Feb 2025, Finance Minister of India presented Union Bugdet 2025-26. While delivering the budget, Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman said “UDAN has enabled 1.5 crore middle-class people to meet their aspirations for speedier travel. The scheme has connected 88 airports and operationalized 619 routes. Inspired by that success, a modified UDAN scheme will be launched to enhance regional connectivity to 120 new destinations and carry 4 crore passengers in the next 10 years. The scheme will also support helipads and smaller airports in hilly, aspirational, and North East region districts.”
