Telangana government has launched Rajiv Yuva Vikasam Scheme 2025 to combat unemployment among SC, ST, BC and Minority Youth. Under this scheme, Congress led state govt. will provide self employment grants upto Rs. 3 lakh each to around 5 lakh unemployed youth. Interested candidates can apply online for RYV scheme from 17th March 2025 (Notification released on 15th March) through the official website.

Eligibility Criteria for Rajiv Yuva Vikasam Scheme
- Applicant must be a permanent resident of Telangana state.
- Only youth candidates can apply online for Rajiv Yuva Vikas Scheme.
- He/She must be unemployed to get financial assistance of Rs. 3 lakh.
- Candidates belonging to either scheduled caste (SC) or scheduled tribe (ST) or backward classes (BC) or minority category are eligible.

Selection of Beneficiaries in Yuva Vikasam
Collectors will be directly involved in overseeing the implementation of Rajiv Yuva Vikasam Scheme at the grassroots level. District collectors would review the applications and then select the RYV scheme beneficiaries. Sanction letters would be distributed on Telangana Formation Day. In the initial phase, the RYV scheme will be implemented through SC, ST, BC and Minority Welfare Corporations but the govt. plans to expand it to other categories in the future.
TG state govt. will facilitate loans through bank linkages to ensure financial security of selected candidates. The Rajiv Yuva Vikasam program aims to provide equal benefits across all assembly constituencies ensuring widespread access to self employment opportunities.
TG Rajiv Yuva Vikasam Scheme Launch
The special self employment scheme aimed at unemployed youth from SC, ST, BC and minority communities has been launched by Deputy Chief Minister on 15 March 2025. While launching the scheme, Dy. CM said that Rajiv Yuva Vikasam will have a budget of Rs. 6000 crore and would benefit around 5 lakh youth across the state. The applications have already been started. Under RYV scheme, eligible candidates would be able to receive financial aid of upto Rs. 3 lakh to support their self employment ventures.

The Rajiv Yuva Vikasam scheme is part of the Congress govt’s larger plan to address youth unemployment and provide better opportunities for growth.
