PM Dhan Dhaanya Krishi Yojana Announced in Union Budget 2025-26

Central government has launched PM Dhan Dhanya Krishi Yojana 2025 for the welfare of farmers. Under पीएम धन धान्य कृषि योजना, union govt. will cover 100 districts having low productivity, moderate crop intensity and below-average credit parameters. What is PM Dhan Dhanya Krishi Yojana?

Finance Minister of India presented Union Budget on 1st February 2025. While delivering budget speech 2025-26, FM said “Motivated by the success of the Aspirational Districts Programme, our government will undertake a Prime Minister Dhan Dhaanya Krishi Yojana in partnership with states. Through the convergence of existing schemes and specialized measures, the programme will cover 100 districts with low productivity, moderate crop intensity and below-average credit parameters.”

Objectives of PM Dhan Dhaanya Krishi Yojana

The main objectives of the newly launched PM Dhan Dhanya Krishi Yojana are to:-

1. Enhance agricultural productivity,
2. Adopt crop diversification and sustainable agriculture practices,
3. Augment post-harvest storage at the panchayat and block level,
4. Improve irrigation facilities, and
5. Facilitate availability of long-term and short-term credit.

Districts Covered under PM Dhan Dhanya Krishi Yojana

PM Dhan Dhanya Krishi Yojana will cover 100 districts to enhance agri productivity, adopt crop diversification, adopt sustainablility, enable post harvest storage at block level, improve irrigation, facilitate long- and short-term credit.
