Mukhyamantri Teerth Darshan Yojana in CG Budget 2025-26
On 3rd March 2025, Finance Minister OP Choudhary presented Chhattisgarh Budget 2025-26. While delivering CG Budget Speech 2025-26, FM said “अध्यक्ष महोदय, पिछली सरकार ने तीर्थ यात्रा योजना को बंद कर दिया था। मैं बताना चाहूंगा की उस योजना अंतर्गत लगभग ढ़ाई लाख हितग्राहियों ने हरिद्वार, पुरी, द्वारिका, श्रवणबेलगोला, सारनाथ, शबरी माला, वैष्णो देवी, स्वर्ण मंदिर इत्यादि महत्त्वपूर्ण धार्मिक स्थानों की यात्रा की थी। पिछले बजट में हमने इस योजना को पुन: प्रारम्भ किया एवं इस बजट में 15 करोड़ का प्रावधान किया गया है।”

Eligibility Criteria for CM Tirth Yatra Yojana Chhattisgarh
- Applicant must be a permanent resident of Chhattisgarh state.
- The age of applicant must be above 60 years.
- Each applicant must be physically and mentally fit.
- Applicant can take benefit of CG Mukhyamantri Teerth Darshan Yojana only once in their lifetime.
- Government officials and employees cannot take part in this visit to pilgrimage scheme.
- Even people with disabilties, widows and destitute women can visit any of the 19 pilgrimage places applicable under CG Tirth Yatra Yojana.
