On 12th March 2025, Finance Minister Jagdish Devda presented Madhya Pradesh Budget 2025-26. While delivering the MP Budget Speech 2025-26, the hon’ble Finance Minister said “स्कूल शिक्षा में समग्र शिक्षा अभियान, एक शाला-एक परिसर, सी.एम. राइज़ विद्यालय, आर.टी.ई. अन्तर्गत निजी विद्यालयों को शिक्षण शुल्क की प्रतिपूर्ति, छात्र-छात्राओं को प्रदाय की जाने वाली निःशुल्क गणवेश, पुस्तकें, सायकल, लैपटॉप, स्कूटी प्रदाय आदि योजनाओं से प्रदेश में शिक्षा की सर्वव्यापकता बढ़ी है। शिक्षा संबंधी प्रमुख योजनाओं जैसे सी.एम. राइज़ में रुपये 3 हज़ार 68 करोड़, साइकिलों का प्रदाय योजना में रुपये 215 करोड़, पी.एम.श्री योजना में रुपये 430 करोड़, निःशुल्क पाठ्यपुस्तकों का प्रदाय योजना में रुपये 124 करोड़ तथा शाला भवनों के रख-रखाव के लिए रुपये 228 करोड़ के प्रावधान प्रस्तावित हैं।”
On 21st Feb 2025, MP Chief Minister Mohan Yadav transferred Rs. 224 crore in laptop assistance to 89,710 meritorious government school students who secured 75% or above marks in Class 12 board exams of the MPBSE in the academic session 2023-24. A state-level program was organised at the auditorium of RCVP Noronha Administrative Academy in the state capital, Bhopal. CM Yadav symbolically provided laptops to a few students and then transferred the amounts through a single click.
While transferring laptop assistance, CM Yadav said “Today, our government transferred laptop assistance amount to around 90,000 government school students who passed class 12 exams with 75 per cent and above marks in the state under our Laptop distribution scheme of the Ministry of Education. Several students shared their experiences on the occasion. There are many students who have a lot of difficulty in their homes. Some of them are fatherless, some belong to families of daily wagers but despite such difficulties, children make a place themselves in the merit list”.
CM added “Those students who secured 75 per cent and above in class 12 the board exams benefited from the Laptop distribution scheme. We have symbolically provided laptops to some students, and for the rest, we have an amount of Rs. 25,000 in each of their accounts. I hope they can get the laptop of their choice and study well to keep themselves on the merit list and make their lives better. I extend my greetings to everyone”. Besides, CM Yadav stated that the state government is committed to simplifying the golden future path of students.

Enter the Class 12th Roll Number (MP Board), mobile number, complaint details, captcha, select grievance type, and click “Register Grievance” button to file complaint regarding MP Laptop Yojana implementation.
Students who topped the 12th-grade exams will be recipients of laptop funds. All the students scoring over 75% in the 12th exams will be given laptop incentives after 20th February 2025. CM Yadav, in his address emphasised that the MP state government has remained committed to all its welfare schemes. He reassured the public that no changes had been made to the basic structure of these initiatives.
