MAA Netra Voucher Yojana (MAA-NVY) Announced in Rajasthan Budget 2025-26

Rajasthan government has announced to launch MAA Netra Voucher Yojana in the recently presented state budget 2025-26. Under this MAA NVY scheme, the state govt. will provide free spectacles to beneficiaries after performing their eye tests absolutely free of cost.

What is Rajasthan MAA NVY Yojana?

Finance Minister Smt. Diya Kumar has announced MAA Netra Voucher Yojana on 19 February 2025.
Truck / bus drivers and working class like artisans, tailors, carpenter, barbers etc. of the Rajasthan state are eligible.
Each beneficiary is entitled to get free spectacles for better vision.
These spectacles would be given only after performing eye tests of beneficiaries and this test would also be free of cost.
The budgetary allocation for MAA Netra Voucher Yojana (MAA NVY) is Rs. 75 Crore.
This scheme is an extension of the already running Mukhyamantri Ayushman Arogya (MAA) Yojana in Rajasthan.
Offline and Online Registrations would soon be invited to get citizens registered so as to receive free spectacles within specified timeline.
Department of Medical, Health and Family Welfare of Rajasthan state would be the nodal agency for the successful implementation of this MAA NVY scheme.

MAA Netra Voucher Yojana in Rajasthan Budget 2025-26

On 19th February 2025, Finance Minister Smt. Diya Kumari has presented Rajasthan Budget 2025-26. While delivering the Rajasthan budget speech, the hon’ble FM said that यह एक निर्विवाद तथ्य है कि ‘Prevention is better than cure’. इसी दृष्टि से हमने वृहद् स्तर पर ‘स्वास्थ्य शिविर’ लगाकर e-Health Record बनाने का कार्य हाथ में लिया है। अब तक 92 लाख 34 हजार (बानवे लाख चौंतीस हजार) व्यक्तियों का स्वास्थ्य परीक्षण किया जा चुका है। इस कार्य के प्रथम चरण को माह जून, 2025 तक पूर्ण कर आगामी वर्ष:-

प्रदेश के 70 (सत्तर) वर्ष आयु से अधिक के वृद्धजनों को आवश्यकतानुसार घर पर ही निःशुल्क दवा उपलब्ध करवाये जाने की घोषणा करती हूँ।
राज्य में Type-1 Diabetes से पीड़ित मरीजों को बेहतर चिकित्सा सुविधा उपलब्ध करवाने की दृष्टि से समस्त जिला चिकित्सालयों में Diabetic Clinics स्थापित किये जाने प्रस्तावित हैं।
प्रदेश को TB मुक्त बनाने के लिए हमारी सरकार कृतसंकल्पित है। इस दृष्टि से, प्रत्येक CHC पर Digital X-ray Machine, TRU-NAAT (टू-नॉट) व CB-NAAT (CB-नॉट) Machine की उपलब्धता सुनिश्चित की जायेगी।
HIV संक्रमित सहित अन्य high risk prone महिलाओं की Cervical Cancer की screening की जाकर उपचार किया जायेगा।
ट्रक/बस ड्राइवरों तथा कामगार वर्ग यथा-कारीगर, दर्जी, बढ़ई (carpenter), नाई इत्यादि की आँखों की जाँच कर निःशुल्क चश्में उपलब्ध करवाने के लिए MAA नेत्र वाउचर योजना (MAA-NVY) लागू किये जाने की घोषणा करती हूँ। इस पर 75 करोड़ (पचहत्तर करोड़) रुपये का व्यय प्रस्तावित है।
