Karnataka Gruha Jyothi Scheme apply online 2025 process has been started at Seva Sindhu Guarantee Schemes Portal sevasindhugs.karnataka.gov.in. Under this scheme, the state govt. will provide 200 units of free electricity to beneficiaries on a monthly basis.

Any individual can apply online for Gruha Jyoti scheme through online mode by visiting sevasindhugs.karnataka.gov.in official website or through offline mode by visiting ESCOM offices. Electricity subsidy would be provided to ensure that power bills of people becomes 0 if they use less than two hundred units of electricity every month.

On 7th March 2025, Finance Minister presented Karnataka Budget 2025-26. While delivering the Karnataka Budget Speech 2025-26, the hon’ble Finance Minister of Karnataka said “The Gruha Jyothi Scheme implemented by our government, has a total consumer registration of 1.62 crore. During year 2024-25, Rs. 9,657 crore was provided for this scheme. In the current year Rs. 10,100 crore will be provided towards this scheme.”

STEP 1: Firstly visit the Seva Sindhu Guarantee Schemes Portal at https://sevasindhugs.karnataka.gov.in/

STEP 2: At the homepage, click at “ಗೃಹ ಜ್ಯೋತಿ” tab to open a pop up window displaying 2 options namely “1. ಗೃಹ ಜ್ಯೋತಿ ಯೋಜನೆ ನೋಂದಣಿಗೆ ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಕ್ಲಿಕ ಮಾಡಿ” and “2. ಗೃಹ ಜ್ಯೋತಿ ಯೋಜನೆಯಿಂದ ಡಿ-ಲಿಂಕ್ ಮಾಡಲು ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಕ್ಲಿಕ ಮಾಡಿ” will open.
STEP 3: Select the 1st option option of “Click Here for Gruha Jyothi Yojana Registration” or directly click https://sevasindhugs1.karnataka.gov.in/gruhajyothi/directApply.do?serviceId=1989
STEP 4: Accordingly, Application Form for Gruha Jyothi Scheme Registration 2025 will get displayed on your screen.

STEP 5: Enter applicant details, tick declaration to proceed to fill details to complete Gruha Jyothi Yojana online registration process.

• Select the 2nd option of “Click Here to De Link from Gruha Jyothi Scheme” or directly click https://sevasindhu.karnataka.gov.in/GruhaJyothi_Delink/GetAadhaarData.aspx to open the page to De Register from Gruha Jyoti Scheme.
• Accordingly, Gruha Jyothi Scheme D Link Application will get displayed on your screen.



• Enter aadhar number, click “Get Details” button to proceed to fill details to complete de registration process from Gruha Jyothi Yojana.

Eligibility Criteria for Karnataka Gruha Jyothi Scheme

• Applicant must be a permanent resident of Karnataka state.
• Applicants must have domestic/residential electricity connection in their name.
• Each house owner is eligible to get Gruha Jyothi Scheme benefit for 1 electric meter connection.
• Aadhaar Number and Mobile Number of the applicant must be linked with the account/consumer ID present in the electricity bill.
• Tenants and Non residents who are currently residing in Karnataka can also avail the scheme benefit.
