The main objective of Electronics Component Manufacturing Scheme is to develop robust component manufacturing ecosystem. This is done by attracting investments (global / domestic) across the value chain by integrating its domestic electronic industry with the Global Value Chains (GVCs).

ECMS MEITY Portal Registration 2025 & Login
- First of all, visit the Electronics Components Manufacturing Scheme official website at https://ecms.meity.gov.in/
- At the homepage, click at “Register” tab present in the main menu or directly click https://ecms.meity.gov.in/register
- Accordingly, the Electronics Component Manufacturing Scheme Registration Form 2025 will appear as shown below:-
- Enter organization details, authorized person details, upload registration document and click “Register” button to complete ECMS Meity Portal registration process.
- Once registration is complete, applicants can click at “Login” button to make ECMS Meity Gov In Login.
- Enter your email ID, password, captcha and click “Log In” button to make ECMS Meity Portal login.
- Once logged in, applicants can fill in ECMS application form and submit it to complete Electronics Component Manufacturing Scheme apply online process.

Target Segments under Electronics Component Manufacturing Scheme
The Target Segment under Scheme for Electronics Component Manufacturing shall include the following:-
- Sub-assemblies –
- Display module sub-assembly
- Camera module sub-assembly
- Bare components –
- Non-SMD passive components
- Electro-mechanicals
- Multi-layer PCB
- Li-ion Cells for digital application (excluding storage and mobility)
- Enclosures for Mobile, IT Hardware products and related devices
- Selected bare components –
- HDI / MSAP / Flexible PCB
- SMD passive components
- Supply chain ecosystem and Capital equipment –
- Supply chain of sub-assemblies (A) & bare components (B) & (C)
- Capital goods used in electronics manufacturing including their sub-assemblies and components

Types of Incentive under Meity ECMS Scheme
The scheme provides differentiated fiscal incentive on target segment products in terms of turnover
- Turnover linked incentive
- Capex incentive and
- Hybrid incentive [i.e. combination of both (a) and (b)]

Tenure of Electronics Components Manufacturing Scheme
- Turnover Linked Incentive: Six (6) years with one (1) year of gestation period
- Capex Incentive: Five (5) years
