Maharashtra government is inviting Bharat Ratna Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Swadhar Yojana 2025 apply online form at hmas.mahait.org. Under this scheme, the state govt. will provide assistance upto Rs. 60,000 to Scheduled Caste (SC) and Neo-Buddhist (NB) students for their education. The annual benefit would be given for lodging, boarding and other expenses to enable the students to pursue higher education.

On 10th March 2025, Finance Minister Ajit Pawar presented Maharashtra Budget 2025-26. While delivering the Maharashtra Budget Speech 2025-26, the hon’ble Finance Minister said “Various schemes such as Rajarshi Shahu Maharaj Scholarship Scheme, student hostels, Bharat Ratna Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Swadhar Scheme, Lokshahir Annabhau Sathe Nagari Vasti Sudhar Yojana etc. are being implemented for the comprehensive development of the Scheduled Castes. Numerous schemes are also being implemented through the Mahatma Phule Backward Classes Development Corporation, Sahityaratna Lokshahir Annabhau Sathe Vikas Mahamandal and Saint Rohidas Charmodyog and Charmakar Vikas Mahamandal”.
Finance Minister added “There has been a substantial increase of 42% in the allocation for the Scheduled Castes Component Programme in this year, compared to last year”.

Create username, password and enter email ID, mobile number and verify these through OTP, enter captcha and click “Save” button to complete Swadhar Yojana online registration process.
Once registered, make hmas mahait org login at the homepage of Hostel Management System portal.

Enter username, password, captcha and click “Login” button to access your account.
After logging in, the page will navigate to “Aadhar Authentication“. Enter your Aadhaar number and click “Send OTP”. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the authentication.
Accordingly, Navigate to the “Basic Details” section. Verify the pre-filled information and click “Save” to proceed.
The landing page provides an overview of hostel admission status tile and Swadhar tile and quick access button to application form. Once clicked on proceed application button the page will navigate to personal details page.
Here you can click “Swadhar Application” tab to proceed to open a new application form.
In the form, select “Swadhar” radio button under ‘Apply for Hostel or Swadhar Service’ and select “New” radio button under ‘Are you New or Existing Applicant’ section.
Please select caste category, caste, certificate number, issuing district, applicant name, issuing authority, issue date from the dropdown.
Then please select yes or no (Selection of No button will stop the application to proceed). Finally, save the details by clicking “Save” or reset the information to fill again in a fresh manner.
