Central government has launched Ayush Suraksha Portal as an Ayush-Vigibase which comprises Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani, and Homoeopathy pharmacovigilance database. Ayush Suraksha Portal Launch Details
To strengthen consumer protection and regulatory oversight in the field of traditional medicine, the Union Minister of State, Shri Prataprao Jadhav, launched the AyushSuraksha Portal at Ayush Bhawan, New Delhi on 30th May 2025. The portal was unveiled during a press briefing, marking a significant moment in the Ministry’s efforts to enhance accountability and transparency across the Ayush sector.
Speaking at the event, the Minister stated, “with the launch of the Ayush Suraksha Portal, we are empowering citizens and professionals alike to become active participants in safeguarding the integrity of Ayush systems. This platform will serve as a vigilant watchtower against misleading advertisements and ensure that only safe and credible products reach the people.”
“The AyushSuraksha Portal represents a significant advancement in pharmacovigilance and regulatory convergence within the Ayush ecosystem. By integrating data from State Licensing Authorities, national pharmacovigilance centres, and key regulatory stakeholders, the portal facilitates real-time monitoring, systematic analysis, and coordinated action on misleading advertisements and adverse drug reactions. We have made it accessible to the public so that any citizen can directly report misleading ads or ADRs via the portal,” said Secretary, Ministry of Ayush.

- At the homepage, click at “User Login” tab present in the main menu or directly click https://suraksha.ayush.gov.in/user
- Accordingly, the Ayush Suraksha Portal Login will get displayed on your screen.
- Enter username, password, captcha and click “Sign In” button to make suraksha.ayush.gov.in login.

Key Features of Ayush Suraksha Portal
- The Ayush Suraksha portal has been developed with the technical support of the Central Council for Research in Siddha (CCRS) and is aligned with the National Pharmacovigilance Program.
- It allows consumers, healthcare professionals, and regulatory authorities to report and monitor misleading advertisements and adverse drug reactions through a seamless digital process.
- The system integrates multiple authorities, including the Ayush vertical under CDSCO, MoI&B, CCPA, NCISM, NCH, PCI, FSSAI, and State Licensing Authorities, ensuring coordinated response and enforcement.
- With the suraksha.ayush.gov.in launch, the Ministry of Ayush now has a centralised and accessible dashboard of reported cases, enabling real-time tracking, swift regulatory action, and detailed data analysis.
- The system also ensures that citizens have a direct channel to voice their concerns, with transparent visibility into the action taken on their reports.

Need for Ayush Suraksha Portal
Ayush Suraksha Portal Launched to Address Issues of Misleading Advertisements and Adverse Drug Reaction. In line with the Pharmacovigilance Programme of India (PvPI), the Ayush Pharmacovigilance was launched with a broad objective to better Health care and warrant Patient Safety. Adverse Drug Reactions (ADRs) are reported from all over the country to the National Pharmacovigilance Coordination Centre (NPvCC) – All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA) through Peripheral Pharmacovigilance Centres (PPvCs) and Intermediary Pharmacovigilance Centres (IPvCs). This includes 05 Intermediary Pharmacovigilance Centers (IPvCs) and 97 Peripheral Pharmacovigilance Centers (PPvCs), from all the National Institutes, Research Councils, and Many Academic hospitals.
Ayush Suraksha is a comprehensive IT platform to effectively document all the suspected Adverse Drug Reactions (ADRs) and capture all the Objectionable Advertisments(OAs) / Misleading Advertisements(MLAs). Ayush Suraksha was developed by Siddha Central Research Institute, Chennai under the Central Council for Research in Siddha, Ministry of Ayush, Govt. of India, and submitted to Ayush Grid.
