Amarnath Yatra Registration Form 2025
STEP 1: First of all, visit the Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board official website at https://jksasb.nic.in/
STEP 2: At the homepage, click “Online Services” tab present in the main menu or directly click https://jksasb.nic.in/onlineservices/index.html
STEP 3: Then the online services present at the J&K Shri Amarnath Shrine Board portal will get displayed on your screen.
STEP 4: Here click at “Yatra Permit Registration” tab to open page showing instructions for Shri Amarnathji Yatra.
STEP 5: Read instructions carefully, agree to these conditions and click at “Register” tab at the bottom of the page.
STEP 6: Accordingly, the Amarnath Yatra Registration Form 2025 will get displayed on your screen.
STEP 7: Fill in yatra details, yatri details, medical details and other information correctly to complete Amarnath Yatra permit apply online process.
One can also download Compulsory Health Certificate (CHC) to be submitted with the Amarnath Yatra Registration Form through the links – English, Hindi
Do’s & Don’ts for Shri Amarnathji Yatra
- Do’s :
- Do prepare for the Yatra by achieving Physical Fitness – it is advisable to start a preparatory Morning/Evening walk, about 4-5 km per day, at least a month prior to the Yatra.
- Start deep breathing exercise and Yoga, particularly pranayam for improving oxygen efficiency of the body.
- Do drink lots of water to combat dehydration and headaches–about 5 litres of fluid per day.
- Do consume plenty of carbohydrates to reduce fatigue and prevent low blood sugar levels.
- Do descend immediately to a lower elevation, if you start having altitude illness symptoms.
- In case of any signs of High Altitude Sickness or any other discomfort, immediately contact the nearest medical facility located at every 2 kms.
- Don’ts :
- Don’t drink alcohol, caffeinated drink, or smoke.
- Don’t accept everything a sick Yatri says since his/ her judgment is impaired.
- Don’t ignore the symptoms of high altitude illness.

About Amarnath Yatra 2025
The Amarnath Yatra is an annual pilgrimage undertaken by devotees of Lord Shiva to the Amarnath Cave Temple located in the Indian union territory of Jammu and Kashmir. Here are some key details about the Amarnath Yatra.
- Amarnath Cave Location – The Amarnath Cave is situated at an altitude of approximately 3,888 meters (12,756 feet) in the Himalayas. The cave is about 141 kilometers (88 miles) from Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir.
- Religious Significance of Amarnath Yatra – The cave houses an ice stalagmite that is believed to be a Shiva Lingam, a symbol of Lord Shiva. According to Hindu mythology, it is in this cave that Lord Shiva explained the secret of life and eternity to his consort, Parvati.
- Historical Significance of Amarnath Yatra – The pilgrimage has been known for centuries, with references in ancient texts and folklore.
- Amarnath Yatra Route – There are two main routes to the Amarnath Cave. One is Pahalgam Route: The traditional route, starting from Pahalgam, covers a distance of about 45 kilometers (28 miles). The trek typically takes 3-5 days. Other is Baltal Route: A shorter but steeper route starting from Baltal, covering a distance of about 14 kilometers (9 miles). This route is more challenging and can be completed in a day.
- The Advance Amarnath Yatra Registration shall commence from 14th April For Shri Amarnathji Yatra 2025
- Shri Amarnathji Yatra will commence on 3rd July and conclude on 9th August 2025.
