Andhra Pradesh government has launched Dr NTR Vaidya Seva Scheme 2025 for the welfare of its citizens. Under this scheme, each eligible family is entitled to get cashless treatment upto Rs. 25 lakh every year through a unique health card. The process to apply for AP NTR Vaidya Seva Health Card is explained at the official website drntrvaidyaseva.ap.gov.in. The citizen should approach to their Sachivalayam to apply for Dr. NTR Vaidya Seva Health card.
Volunteer Household survey is mandatory to apply for Dr. NTR Vaidya Seva card.
One can get treatment under Dr. NTR Vaidya Seva through the following methods:-
Direct referral from Village Health Clinic / Primary Health centres / 104 Family Physician (or) Emergency Ambulance in any village to Dr. NTR Vaidya Seva empanelled hospitals for cashless treatment.
Directly contacting with the Vaidya Mithra first to get treatment under Dr. NTR Vaidya Seva Scheme.
Submitting your bank details to the Vaidya Mithra along with bank passbook to get the Post treatment sustenance allowance amount for eligible procedures.
For those who have given account details, the health benefit amount will be credited to your account before discharge from the hospital.
For identified 138 procedures, the follow-up medicines for 1 year will be provided for free of cost.
During Discharge, Patient must submit the Confirmation Letter stating that “You have not faced any problem and not spent money during the hospitalization period” and a Consent Letter stating that “the Trust can process the treatment cost as per the package to the Hospital through my Virtual account”.
You can anytime contact Vaidya Mithra in the hospital for any help during the hospitalization. Moreover, members of the eligible family are entitled to use Dr. NTR Vaidya Seva Scheme services multiple times in a year.
Objectives of Dr NTR Vaidya Seva Scheme 2025
The main objectives of Dr NTR Vaidya Seva Scheme are to:-
Provide universal coverage of health for both urban and rural poor of the State of Andhra Pradesh.
Achieve equity and provide accountable and evidence-based good-quality health-care services in the state.
Assist poor families from catastrophic health expenditure.
Provide Universal Health Coverage to BPL families.
Meet the health needs of poor patients.
Provide end-to-end cashless services for identified diseases under secondary and tertiary care through a network of service providers from Government and private sector.
Strengthen the Government Hospitals through demand side financing.
Provide free quality hospital care and equity of access to BPL families by purchase of quality medical services from identified network of health care providers through a self-funded reimbursement mechanism (serviced by Trust).
