Odisha government is soon going to invite Mukhyamantri Kanya Bibaha Yojana 2025 apply online form. Under this scheme, mass marriages of girls would be performed and gifts would be given to newly wed couples to ensure daughters marriage with dignity. This CM Mass Marriage Scheme has been firstly announced in the Odisha Budget 2025-26. Mukhyamantri Kanya Bibaha Yojana in Odisha Budget 2025-26

On 17th February 2025, Finance Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi has presented Odisha Budget 2025-26. While delivering the budget speech, the hon’ble FM said “A girl child is a blessing, not a burden, and we must honour and empower them to fulfil their dreams. Weddings following Odia tradition and customs are becoming expensive. Sometimes poor families find it very difficult financially to get their daughters married with dignity. For the purpose, I am proposing a new scheme MukhyaMantri Kanya Bibaha Yojana. Under the scheme, mass marriages will be performed, and the Government will bear all the expenses as well as provide the gift for the bride. I propose an allocation of Rs. 12 crore for this purpose”.

The application forms for CM mass marriage scheme would soon be invited by the Odisha state government. These forms may be invited through the Odisha govt’s official website https://odisha.gov.in/ or through a new dedicated portal. CM Mass Marriage Scheme Odisha Eligibility

  • Both bride and groom must be permanent residents of Odisha.
  • Only those couples whose family income from all sources is less than Rs. 2 lakh are eligible.
  • The age of the bride must be above 18 years.
  • The age of the groom must be above 21 years.
  • This should be the first marriage of the bride and groom.
  • Mass marriage ceremony must consist of at-least 10 couples.

Allocation for Various Schemes in Odisha Budget 2025-26

  • Rs. 1085 crore to repurpose Mukhyamantri Bus Seva for strengthening statewide bus services.
  • Rs. 1266 crore is proposed under Atal Bus Stand Scheme for the construction, operation, and maintenance of 133 Bus Stands aimed at providing high quality service to passengers.
  • Launch of an umbrella programme Building & Management of Aviation Assets and Network (B-MAAN) for modernization and expansion of airports.
  • Our Government envisions Odisha’s cities as vibrant socio-economic hubs that uplift the lives of their citizens. To achieve this, the Samruddha Sahara scheme has been introduced, with an outlay of Rs.408 crore.
  • Odisha government has allocated Rs. 1100 crore under Mukhyamantri Sahari Bikas Yojana (MSBY) for construction of civic amenities across all cities, creation of revenue generating infrastructures, Urban Wage Employment (Shrama Samruddhi), Water body Development (Jala Samruddhi), Animal Welfare (Prani Samruddhi) and Housing.
  • To support the upcoming industries and to expedite the land allotment process and provide ready-to-use land for industrial projects, a target has been set up to acquire or alienate atleast 1000 acres of land under the Land Bank Scheme every year for the next five years. A budget of Rs. 106 crore has been proposed for the scheme.
  • Odisha govt. proposed an outlay of Rs. 30 crore to reduce the interest burden of the manufacturing MSMEs/ Exporters of the State under the State Sector Scheme, “Chief Minister’s Scheme for Reimbursement of Interest to MSMEs (CM-SRIM)”.
  • Rs. 30 crore for Shri Jagannath Darshan Yojana
  • Rs. 3470 crore under the scheme Mukhya Mantri Sadak Yojana (MMSY)
  • Setu Bandhana Yojana to enhance rural connectivity through the construction of bridges on Rural roads with an outlay of Rs. 2000 crore
  • Rs. 2000 crore for Bikashita Gaon Bikashita Odisha
  • Rs. 7550 crore for Antyodaya Gruha Yojana for construction of 2,25,000 houses in next 3 years. In 2025-26, 75000 houses houses would be constructed with an outlay of Rs. 2603 crore.
  • Rs. 500 crore under Mukhya Mantri Shakti Bikash Yojana
  • Saheed Laxman Nayak Adarsh Vidyalaya Scheme to launch with an allocation of Rs. 100 crore.
  • Rs. 120 crore under Kendupatra Tolali Kalyan Yojana for welfare of Kendu Leaf Pluckers.
  • Rs. 526 crore for Mukhyamantri Sampoorna Pusti Yojana (MSPY)
  • Rs. 10145 crore for Subhadra Plus Scheme
