CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship Scheme Eligibility
Single girl child passed class 10th from CBSE affiliated school and pursuing education at class 11th and class 12th in CBSE affiliated schools.
Girl students who are the only child of their parents and who have secured 70% or more marks (in first 5 subjects) in class 10th are eligible for the award of scholarship.
Monthly tuition fee should not exceed Rs. 2,500 per month in class 10th. The tuition fee in class 11th and 12th shall not be more than Rs. 3000 per annum.
The scholarship awarded shall be renewed for a period of 1 year i.e successful completion of class 11th and student have secured more than 70% or more marks in class 11th and promoted to class 12th.
Scholarship shall be awarded to Indian Nationals only.
NRI applicants of the Board are also eligible for the award. The tuition fee for the NRIs has been decided maximum of Rs. 6000 per month.
A scholarship under the scheme while availing scholarship can also enjoy other concession(s) given by the school in which she is studying.
